This Saturday, March 14, 30 high school students and 15 adult and college-aged leaders from New Covenant will be depart for a week-long mission experience somewhere in the United States. Our mission theme is Story - as all week, we believe that we will be living in God's story - His story for the community we will be serving and His story for us (as a group and individually).
The leadership for the mission experience has decided to keep our destination and travel details a secret from our students. We've done this for a couple of reasons - first, for fun and adventure - second, to encourage our entire team in knowing that God is our Lead.
In the few, short days prior to our departure and all during our experience, this blog will be committed to the story God is writing while we are on mission. Both students and leaders will be sharing their thoughts on the adventure God is writing for us and that we are living for Him.
